The NOR and registration is located at http://www.hcyc-tx.com/content.aspx?page_id=87&club_id=187039&item_id=692465 (upper right button)
Hill Country Yacht Club (HCYC) and Day Sailer (DS) Guadalupe fleet 135 are the hosts. John was a member of HCYC and helped get our DS Fleet 135 official.
The regatta will take place on beautiful Canyon Lake, in central Texas, home of HCYC and our fleet. This is a one day event and there will be a separate DS class.
Please join us in honoring John, who recently passed away. David Oates is very excited for this opportunity to honor John and grateful for the support of HCYC.
Visit the DS forum and facebook page for the many memorials and tributes to John.
Attached is pic of David trailing John in the 2014 Wurstfest Regatta at Canyon Lake, back then in our DS2s. Since then we each had acquired DS1s and we were looking forward to sailing them together this season.
Fleet 1 hosts this annual event from the docks of SSA in Annapolis. Make plans to attend. It sounds delicious!
